The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring
The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring annually recognizes outstanding mentors who have had the greatest impact on students who are seeking research doctorate degrees. A cash prize of $2,500 is awarded to the graduate faculty members to recognize their excellence in mentoring.

Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Award for Excellence in Graduate Mentoring
Each spring, the Dietrich School will recognize colleagues who best exemplify the considerable efforts and accomplishments of members of the graduate faculty serving as effective mentors of our graduate students.
These awards are important examples of the school’s continuing efforts to cultivate a culture of inclusive excellence in mentoring.
Each award carries a cash prize of $1,500.
Pitt Public Health Mentor Network
The Pitt Public Health Mentor Network is a group of students, alumni, postdocs, and colleagues affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health.
The purpose of the network is to build community and improve professional development and career preparedness for current students and recent alumni.
