This five-part workshop series is for all STEM undergraduate and graduate students interested in funding their studies through one or more federally funded grant programs.
Workshop attendees will craft competitive applications for awards such as the
- National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP),
- Department of Defense's Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (DoD SMART) Program,
- National Defense Science and Engineering (NDSEG) Fellowship,
- and more.
The first workshop will discuss the different grant programs, assist attendees in determining which program(s) they will apply, as well as getting started on the selection of strong recommendation writers and developing a research proposal.
The series continues with workshops on July 15, 22, 29, and August 5. The virtual events take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
