Pitt2Pitt Funding helps graduating University of Pittsburgh seniors to complete a Pitt master's degree or certificate program. Many offerings are also available to alumni to advance their studies and expertise. To qualify for the Pitt2Pitt Funding, you need to be a graduating University of Pittsburgh senior or alumni as described in the program specific requirements, apply and be admitted to the participating school.
Programs involved in the Pitt2Pitt Funding opportunity are designed to help you accelerate your career success and become a dynamic leader in your field. The University of Pittsburgh is proud to provide funding support and the highest possible return on your investment.
Pitt2Pitt Funding currently supports schools and certificates in data science, management, public health, engineering, health sciences, education, and many other fields. Applications are now being accepted for the Fall 2022 term. Most schools providing Pitt2Pitt Funding have waived the application fee for graduating University of Pittsburgh seniors and alumni.

- How Do I Apply for Pitt2Pitt Funding?

There is no central Pitt2Pitt funding application for all programs. The tables below, organized by the participating school, provide an overview of each school’s offerings. Please visit the school's website using the links below for complete details, including admission requirements, application processes, alumni eligibility, and details of the program formats.
- May I apply to more than one Pitt2Pitt program?

Yes, you can apply to more than one program. If you are unsure of which program is the best for you and would like to learn more about the options, please email graduate@pitt.edu.
- How can I attend classes?

Programs are available online, in-person, hybrid, full-time, and flexible part-time formats, and some dual/joint options depending on the program or certificate. Please view the options below.

- How much funding can I expect to receive with Pitt2Pitt?

The Pitt2Pitt scholarship is a one-time funding opportunity. The Funding will be disbursed over the fall and spring term as follows:
Full-time students:
Student Type Funding Per Semester Total Funding Pennsylvania Resident $1,250 $2,500 Fully Online Student $1,250 $2,500 Out-of-State Resident $2,500 $5,000 Part-time students (must be enrolled for a minimum of 4.5 credits):
Student Type Funding Per Semester Total Funding Pennsylvania Resident $625 $1,250 Fully Online Student $625 $1,250 Out-of-State Resident $1,250 $2,500 Pitt2Pitt provides non-refundable funds toward tuition. Therefore, if additional Pitt funds are awarded to the recipient and the cumulative funds would generate a refund, Pitt2Pitt Funding will be reduced or canceled to ensure there is no refund from that support.
- I am a Pitt employee; do I qualify for the Pitt2Pitt Funding?

Pitt employees who are recent Pitt graduates or alumni using their Pitt education benefits for graduate enrollment are not eligible to receive Pitt2Pitt Funding.
